Astrid Offices

A modern office center with a total rentable space of over 5,500 m2 located in Holešovice in Prague, one of the most up-and-coming parts of the capital city. The project was built by the Austrian development company UBM, and PORTIVA took it over after its completion and the tenants moving in. Astrid is a premium property with LEED certification, which is an American standard that determines the quality of real estate, environmental benefits and the materials used. In addition to office space, the building also includes a modern bistro and an underground garage.

In addition to an attractive location, the project, which offers over 3,500 m2 of rentable office space on five floors, is also interesting due to its exceptional quality. It is not only about the successful architectural design of the award-winning international studio Bogle Architects, which creatively transformed the original industrial development into a multi-purpose complex.

The Astrid Offices building was built according to the LEED Gold standard and has earned a sustainability certificate of the same name. Only projects that are effective in their water and energy management, have a high-quality indoor environment or take the environment into account when choosing materials and the construction itself achieve this designation. For example, Astrid Offices has a modern cooling system, a common green roof terrace, and uses large-area glazing panels with external vertical slats and horizontal blinds on the building’s façade to ensure sufficient access to sunlight.
